What mods have you made to your car in the name of falconry?
Haven't made any myself, recently got a Laguna Estate which does the job nicely. Only got a rubber load liner to contain the moog, but my cadge wedges in perfectly under the load cover. Keep the transmitter and spare jesses in the dash.
I need my car pimping! Theres forever bits falling off it! I havnt made any modifications as such, just allowed it to be permanantly filthy from driving (and getting stuck in) muddy fields. I cleaned it out at the end of the season, found bits of hawking kit in every nook and cranny, spare swivels and telem batteries etc that i thought id lost, and a flask from months ago (still filled with tea) that id forgotten about LOL :vom: . When i fold my back seats down though, all my kit fits nicely.

WD, I passed you in Dundee a couple of months ago, I thought you were lost from Blairdrummond,
we had a white landie 110 td5, just going on to the Aberdeen road, if I had known it was you, I would have peeped.
Cheers
Now that’s using your spare tyre to it best advantage. Like it! :yawinkle:

Here is a perch i started to use while out gull/rook hawking, its an adapted baby seat , its as you can see got a perch in the middle , i hang it from the dog guard which is cable tied to back of the the front seats, when i get a good set up i can pick the falcon off the perch and slip her out the car window, locally if i stop and get out to get a falcon from the back off the car the quarry is long gone, it works well , only downside is if one s**** while travelling , had one or two go right down my neck, small price to pay, mark.

Mud terrain tyres :supz:
The only other thing I have done to it in the name of falconry is let the hawk and dog **** in it and thrape the living **** out of it by taking the "direct route" whenever possible  :supz:

Stealth, please be very careful with air fresheners. At best they are nasal anaesthitics and at worst they can be leathal to your BOP. there was a thread re this a few months back.... http://www.falconryforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=14416 &http://www.falconryforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=14446&highlight=air+fresheners IMHO best airfreshener is opening the windows :yawinkle: HTH

Julian, thanks for the info:yawinkle:
I remember reading that very thread. The airfreshener is just a temporary imrovement. With having the car full of lots of outdoor equipment (including muddy bikes), its a relief to clean it out and have it resemble something habitable:rolleyes:
After the moult, it will be back to normal without air fresheners:yawinkle:
