hi everyone
i'm having abit of trouble with my donating tiercel peregrine he donates on the hat but then stands in it all and spreads it everywhere so making it harder for me to collect the seman and i was just wondering if some of you could post some pictures of your hats so i can make anouther one i dont think the grooves are deep enough
how deep do you make the grooves ???????????

Hi Colin, how you doing, the method i use is to start off with the hat on my head then gradually hold it , over a short time untill i am holding it at eye level, then i can see what he is doing, as soon as he donates, i drop the side he has donated on so he walks to the highest spot then i encourage him to jump onto a perch , for his reward, half a chick say, then the sample is untouched, here is the hat i use, getting good samples every day, not lost one yet, mark.

Sorry i can,t help with any advice but i,ve seen these hats in videos before and wondered if there was a name for them? I call them COPULATING CAPS:)
