Ah - I thought these were stone? Not that I mind much either way, just want to try something other than wood.

Correct Hattie they are stone/resign composit.
However he has some in this wee as sold by other falconry furniture sellers:wink: ... The black ones.

I have one of the Falconry Fabrications black stone blocks. It wasn't exactly as I was expecting, as I had envisaged a slightly more natural-looking finish. but other than that extremely minor quibble, I love it. I have a portable one (flat disk base). It weighs a ton, so even my monster has no hope of shifting it. I'd definitely have a look at them.

i have 1 too an i am very pleased with it and it looks quite nice an martin knocked a fiver off it for me at the mids gamefair woo

My dads' falconry centre uses them for all the static bop - never had a problem, Martin's blocks/bows etc are great :yawinkle:
