nice girl ,but she keeps giving me that i will kill you look,then she grips me just to let me know she can,she is an imprint from a trusted soure,and stands for ai ,so that is part of the plan,she has hunted,but nothing for a couple of seasons,joe,10 ish was the hunting weight\saker hunter/elly and matt,i plan to get her going early to fly inthe early part of the season,\if things go to plan she will have an imprint martial for company by the end of the season.hannah she was called mouse, but she willhave to be renamed,khali,is top so far but i am open to suggestions,
deer foxes and white and brown hare,maybe geese,all on the list just need to get them inthe bag,cheers all

a long and very good moult she has replaced all her feathers except one pair,this was acheived by feeding her fallow thyroid glands,she threw feathers like a quillpig with a dog on it.will post some more pics soon.
having real trouble bringing her weight down,with this mild weather,i have the chance to fly her at hares this weekend,she is chasing well but not returning ,her behaviuor is awkward ,she needs to lse a bit more and get on some quarry,things should improve then.

maybe i fancy the grow your own thing,my problem would be that physicaly it would be hard to do justiceto more than one goldie,she stands nicely ai will not be a problem,i probably will fly her hard all the way through this season.

tom carnihan,we did not stop laughing all weekend,great bunch ,it recharged the battries and then it was off to the highlands

just updating,2 trips to the highlands later the girl is going very well three hares in three slips of the fist,some at a great distance and with real style

out yesterday coursity of tom carnihan, she had two really good slips at hare,but flew back wards away from the hares and didnt appear to see them
1 i beleiveshe was looking for white hare,
2 i think she flew along the line of beatersbecause she has learned that is where the hare is produced,in the hihgland she is often cast when the shout goes up ,without any sighting the bird instinctivlyflys toward niose and the line.
bloody frusrating.she saw some ducks several hundred yards away so i let her buzz them flew flew hard and crashed into the cver after one heres a coupl of pics tom took

that ones a big question the onle real answer for me is the highest weight that she will do the job you are asking of her that day.she flieshard at white hare at 9/11,but behaves like at fat bird in other respects\i expect here weight to have to come down for deer/fox she feels about right around 9/6but only time will tell,as i sayher true hunting weight depends on the ask on the day

out this pm very still ,no hint of wind, we got a slip on a brownie ,200 yds slip she chased hard for some 400 yds very pleasing ,she stuck her feet out and just missed,but it was a ball bustin effort with the conditions
