I met a few Falconers in San Diego, But that's a drive. Some locals would be cool.

Your best bet would be to join the CHC. They will then have a membership list you can get a couple names from....

I've been trying for the last 6 weeks to contact them and join. I've mailed out two applications both with payment. nothing yet.

I spoke to a local that moved from Spain who has been in falconry for 8+ years (in Spain) an he hasn't had much luck contacting them either.
He also mentioned that he talked to a local from L.A. and was told he could joined because he didn't have a ss#. :/ So I told him I would help him out, and I requested his packed from fish and game.

I'm sure they're busy, so I will keep trying :)

Kinda far though. But I do come to the CHC meets each year...I hope they have it in Bakersfield this year. Sacramento was a far drive ...lol :rolleyes:
