or contact landfill sites direct, offering a service once you have thought it through, or the NBC.

I have done Urban work and some landfill, hope its all u imagine it to be, its not the same hawking that many people know and love, but its a definate niche of the "sport" to be experimented with

There was a recent thread about this. Will see if I can find it.I think the general thought was that as it is a small world, those doing would not bo too keen on sharing their work? Will look now.Good luck.

but just make sure there is not already a falconer on the site this may cause a few problems if you go in under cutting the guy who is on there ????:supz:

Ring around your local pest control companies and ask if they have any vacancies.

NBC do train people to fly both longwings and hawks even if they have never flown before but it all depends on the area you wish to work in and the amount of work that they have in that area, plus wether they feel the person is suitable for the line of work along with all the other issues with employing someone.
Hope this helps.

I dont think it is where I live as the position was only half hour away to the site . I think a 10 minute interveiw at a petrol station wont tell them if Im suitable or not

may be the person who was interviewing you was rather busy. and in them 10 mins he may have thought that you was not sutibale for the postion. what is wrong with an interview at a petrol station? you would be even more peeed of if you went to the other side of the country for an interview and they said no. i wish you luck in finding employment in this field, keep an eye out on the ibr, and falconry classifed websites also cage and avariy mag when i have needed to employ another bird controller this is where i have placed adverts
