belle im not doubting your eagle killed a fox, hell i have taken hundreds with my lurchers over the years, i have even taken them with an undersized plummer bitch, so by my thinking, and going from what i have seen, read and heard a fox could be easily taken by a golden.

however, i have seen a picture that is near enough exactly the same as that in some a sporting periodical or other. the reason it stuck in my head was that at the time i remember thinking "i hope to do that one day" and i still do!

either way

cracking pic and top bird

all the best

The local hunt here uses 2 Goldens on fox after the hunt dogs have flushed it out into the open {fitswilliom} To me not the right way to use such magnificent birds

Hopefully will have a picture like that myself one day Tony, have done plenty off shots for professional photographers with a eagle on a dead fox. Once Elsa's a bit more experienced I will fly her at fox, she has chased a couple which where accidentally flushed. Keep the pictures coming.
