i was just asking y has barbry boy been banned off the site for good when he was banned for a month and then got banned 4 life when he did not even log on after the month banned finished ?

In response to previous threads and pm's regarding member "Barbary Boy" I would like to clarify the circumstances of his banning, as some members appear to have some "concerns" about the banning of this member.

This explanation is posted on a one-off basis and no further correspondence will be entered into by any of the Moderating Team, no other past or future member bannings will be discussed either.

Barbary boy was banned as a result of abusive posts aimed at the Moderating Team and for continued trouble-making on the forum. He had been banned and warned numerous times in the past and has been given more chances than any other member in the history of the IFF. Despite promising to mend his ways he spectacularly failed to do so and as a result was banned last month by a member of Admin. There was some regrettable confusion over the length of his ban but I can confirm this ban is PERMANENT.

I have contacted him by email and explained all this to him and he fully accepts this decision and the reasons for it, therefore has no complaints about his banning. He tells me he has found another forum to visit so isnt concerned that he cant come on here anymore.

Hopefully this answers any questions and placates any concerns which any of the membership may have had regarding Barbary Boy's banning.
