My clay pigeon shooting association club membership is coming to an end, the reason i had it is so i was covered in case i accidentally capped some one or such of the like.
Seeing as now i predominantly hawk stuff i was thinking of joining a falconry club that offers insurance, the cpsa offered insurance for 'country sports' but do any of the falconry club insurances cover you for shooting? If any do then my annual fee is all theirs, can anyone help point me in the right direction?

BASC or CA will cover you for any field sport.

Theres two clubs in South Yorkshire (WHC and YFC) but neither will cover you for shooting.

Not sure about the BFC but the Yorkshire Region meets outside Leeds.

Third party liability insurance cover when flying your hawks, field meets, social meetings with guest speakers and workshops etc. With the WHC you also get the 'Austringer' an annual magazine and regular newsletters posted to you.

You get info from the Hawk Board and get to vote on their elections if that kind of thing floats your boat.

Yep, if you want insurance to cover shooting and falconry then BASC, I'm a member and they are pretty good, I'm also a BFC member but I dont think that would cover you for shooting but for eveything else its great, the yorkshire region also have some great people and its well attended with some great members over them there hills ;-)
