just out of interest tom how old are you,i,ve been flying birds for 21 one years now mate and i will still only fly and hunt only one bird at any one time, still to one bird and get the best out of it before you move on to another birds, espeaicaly one as hard to train, fly and hunt as sparrowhawk.

i flew a musket(male)sparrowhawk last year and his hunting weight was 129 grams are you ready for that sort of weight control, and yes i still found it hard work.

please think long and hard before you get a spar, because its not a beginners bird at all.

jase.

i would like to know all that same stuff as i would like a Spar in the next year or two (or three  ), but i totaly agree, its going to be a big commitment and some hard work to get it right.

Why do you want a Spar??? what do you want to hunt???
