You can upload your avatar if you have an online photo album account such as photobucket

The other photos and the option to upload your own from your computer are disabled, as Colin rightly says, due to the hacking.

I have tried resizing a cpl of images into jpg/bmp/gifs all the files were well below 32k and are 80x80

i also tried uploading the images to a cpl of different image hosting sites and still no joy, just keep getting an " image cannot be saved " error message

any help ?

The uploading of pics is not possible at the moment. You may have to wait till the end of the week after Sparrow does a server upgrade.

Personally I think more members should put up pictures of themselves as it give the others an idea of who you are speaking to and that you are a real genuine person not someone hiding behing a keyboard with no profile and out to make trouble.

It helps at meeting to get YOU talking to others if you may be a bit shy to make an intro yourself?

Look under "User CP" in the top left hand corner of the front page. In there you should be able to choose an avatar and browse tour pictures on your computer to pick one. Just have to be sure it small enough to be under the allowable picture size for upload.
