beautiful birds with hugh feet. How come some say they are not as powerful as goldies they seem to have much larger feet and claws?

these verreux eagles are very beautiful.By the way how god are they as hunting birds as compared to goldens and tawneys.

This one species which I adore. They usually hunt hyrax, right?
Very capable hunter and very good at decoying their prey with their partner.
I can say that the talons are similar to my IBE's, very long and not really curved. Perhaps, all black eagle has that characteristics.

Will be interesting to know if they produce. Are they in this country? Are they from JPJ stock?
I know someone with a black eagle it has the most pleasent temperant you could wish for and some truly awesome feet. I would say though off the fist at hares a goldie is better. Hopefully he will be on form this season.

I can tell from the picture that it is a real bunny killer :supz:

If you go after the genus, the tawny is an Aquila aswell, and rubbish hunting birds:yawinkle:

So, what other Aquila is good for hunting then?
