Also an auction site coming soon...sorry if in the wrong place but would incourage all to buy from Mike at Due North Falconry Supplies.

i have a glove 3 years old now and still in pretty good nick :supz:
swivels.......... i got a few of the first ones to destruct test for him and affter a straight pull of 500kg it wouldnt break. I also tried shock loading them but the best i could get on the readout was about 120kg (still a lot stronger than jesses or a birds legs
a few weeks ago i got a hawking vest ................ cant believe i used a bag for so long
the only thing i can think of to improve the vest would be fitting a D ring or loop of some sort to hang it up with when not in use

Just wanted to add my own endorsement of Due North; both their products and, equally as important, their excellent level of customer service. In niche markets such as falconry it is often the latter that suffers.
I wanted to order some gloves for my three sons as extra Chrissy presents. Mike's assistance was excellent in helping me choose the correct sizes etc and making sure that what I'd ordered was suitable. He even dispatched the goods before I'd paid the full amount (which was, incdentally, an excellent price) and they duly arrived the next day as promised.
So, thanks again Mike and may I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and prosperous New Year!
Cheers, Adi:supz:

Mike gear is great. I have had a couple of gloves and 3 vests. The latest vest is much better the meat pouch did full apart after a while, not sure if that's still the case, i have my own multi pocket pouch made of pvc. Took delivery of a new glove today from due north for a mate and it's well nice in fact, i had a new ben long harris hawk glove a few weeks ago and for the price i wish i'd brought one of mikes, beware the ben long harris hawk glove is single layer! ! i have not had the bottle to try it yet besides it having a hugh logo on the side saying ben long falconry, in fact i think i might send it back. What is your view on Ben Long gear ?

Gotta agree, the bags and gloves are great. Can even use the single thickness glove and the EEO cant get through it :-D
