43915 found this old pic of me and my first spar taken about 20 years ago the gull was injured and just managed to get off the floor before the spar hit it ,then just stood there with my bird on its head nutty birds these spars but you gotta love em......den

i wouldnt say brought it down as such more the spars weight was just enough to make it land plus it couldnt see where it was going with my bird on its head.....den

by the way before someone says it the clasp you can see hanging from my glove is the end of my dog lead and not for the spar ....den

they say den, that men get better looking with age!!!8-) ......well some!!lol

talking of nutty birds i took mia to a field meet yesterday, didnt fly her as i decided to go with jen n fly the harris. as we were packing up there was a cock bird running back n forth by one of the gates. just to prove that i weren't talking b****ks about mia and the size of her ego i took her out, walked her up, only got a couple of foot no hesitation she flew at it straight in, i ran up to her just as the cock bird flew up over the gate with her on its back about 15 yrds it dropped down into cover n knocked her off, right shame.

good breeding thats what i say:wink: :D
