You can fly it at first light up until the clocks change then its dark on the way to work and dark returning home. I personally would advise against it. ATB Chrisgos

Yes it is if you get an eyass in the summer as you'll have the long evenings. In the winter, if you leave, and arrive home in the dark during the week, you'll have to fly at weekends and keep him tame during the week by bringing him indoors with you to feed him etc. Your gos won't be very fit of course but he'll still catch stuff.

Don't see why not - but as with all things, you get what you put in - you'll struggle with quality of flights and kills with the lack of fitness

I have met some falconers who use vertical jumps, during weeknights, with passage Goshawks. They would then fly the **** out of them on the weekend, with good results. The key seemed to be getting the birds exhausted with the night training sessions (weighted leashes, 50-100 jumps).
The other thought would be lamping, but I know very little about doing this with a Gos.

NO , it would be a poor example, what happens if it's raining on the weekend ? no flying for 2 weeks, a gos is flown on conditioning, weight management and confidence. Conditioning and confidence being achieve through flying / hunting.
