your comments on these vehicles for use in falconry?
what exactly is a falconry vehicle my mate?all my years as an angler, ferreter and courser, ive never whent for the vehicle bit,ive mates who had to have a landrover or range rover, but surely its imaterial what vehicle it is,as long as its reliable, ive a mondeo,i dont care if my bird has to sit on the front seat as long as shes comfy, and wears her seat belt arround town, when it comes to out of town ive two legs which will take me the bird ferrets and equipment, from the car to where ever i want, and theyre fully water proof,

Mmmm Jiff,
Good point! Who cares, as long as it does the job. I am looking to get a new car for hawking and I always seem to conclude I need an Estate?
Good on fuel, I can get everything in it comfortably, and goes everywhere I would need to go with a car or 4x4?
in my match fishing days i had estate,an astra, simply because it was the write price at the time, but without doupt it was the car for the job.

i agree that most estate cars will suffice most of the time, thing is tho, if your thinking about trips to scotland during the winter months for some great hawking your regular car wont always cut the mustard

i got a 94 frontera 2.3td lwb slow as .... well slow!! i've had loads of cars in my time but this with all its faults is my favourite car. not to great in 4x4 mode but that is down to having road tyres on it. but i love it. lowish miles n bought it 4 £900 last year. they may have a bad write up but parts are cheap n i've found parts easy to come by.i've had no probs with mine apart from brakes for MOT. good budget 4x4 lotta space inside. 2.3td not bad on diesel either! dont go for the bigger 2.8 td or larger petrol models very juicy on fuel

Audi 80......£250 still going 4 years late 154000 on the clock and EVERY kid at school take the ****!!! "err sirs a jippo" "oi sir when you gonna milk the cows" etc etc. When I open the door during the summer, all the flies from the bait I use leave en masse. I have mould that would be a breakthrough in medical science if only the CIA could get hold of it!!!
A to B no problem 24/7 365 days a year. Like a good hawk the thing is now a part of me. I have a photo of cody sitting on it before we go hunting in my personal gallery.
