Well today was the big took the big fella out for the first time to some local ground his weight was 2lb 1oz and 1/8th new he was heavy but jusy got that bug where it had to be done. Anyway walked him down for some 1-2 hours went by a little pond and a coot rushed into the water reeds where Wallace to my surprise baited for it go on ma son i thought but he was left to sit back on the glove. Over to the flat area creance on stepped back some 20 yards but was expecting a little delay which i got but then boom right to fist back to post he went then another 30 yards back a little look around where some sheep were distracting him but a call on the whistle boom again straight back for some skinned rat by this time he was over 2lb 2oz preening himself on the post cleaning the beak this is when i knew enough was enough for him back on the glove and walked him down for another hour nibbling away on a meatless tiring on a rabbit worked a treat so hopfully will be free during the week and i am antisipating him to hunt around 1 lb 14 ish but soon as he knew and familerized his surroundings he knew what the buisness was all about:supz:temprement :supz: even when passers by with there kids facinated with Wallace ended giving a 20 miute lecture, photos taken and he still never flinched well chuffed with all that went today.:supz:
