Had this little fella kill a collared dove outside the office window today. I watched him for about an hour before he carried off what was left of his meal. A mature male spar is I think one of the most beatifull of british birds.

They are so beautifull aint they. :heart: I did not realise a wild musket would tackle prey as large as doves. Just a shame the pics are not a little larger...

i once saw a female spar tucking into a crow on a roadside, but only breifly as i was passing in the car.
