not sure of the validity but i have been told that andy margerisons lines are similarly bred to jeremy edwards with both originating from import finnish stock .
russ robinson (pure finnish) was going to buy one of his birds 2 years ago and would give you more details ......if you can get hold of him .

My bird was bred by him. She came from Cliff Brammel, Harry Gilbert and Derek Stoton lines. He also has 7 males and 3 females he actually trapped himself in Finland.

did he also exchange youngsters with j.edwards - both lines bred from imported stock ?

You won't get a bird from jeremy edwards mate. I had the last one he bred. The thing was my birds line is unrelated to the original harry gilbert lines. From what he said when i went down there not directly trapped but about as close as you can get these days. He did mention the origins of all the birds there but i can't remember althour a bloke called andy was mentioned not 100% sure though.

Sorry mate. I'll leave it up though as someone mentioned the possible relationship between the two breeders. As i was told A margeson did produce some very nice birds initially that were the basis of some of jeremys birds. Thought it may be relevant to anyone looking at the lines that jeremys is no longer available from this country.

All the best in your search.

its well known that jeremy edwards sold up this year (more's the pity).
his name was mentioned because their respective lines are close if not related .

Had a bit of a walk down the field with the gos a rabbit got up it never stood a chance she proper nailed it by the head she also flew a woodcock but it had too much start but it was an entertaining flight so a good start
