Just looked at a chart and it seems like the values are all over the show. Some are high at a lower age and others are higher, so it must be much of a muchness?
Why dont you freeze them for time when you need them or sell them to your good mates on the forum?

Brian I've been thinking about having ago at quail for ages, I think I told you before; are the females rearing them or are you incubating them? If the females are doing it, what kind of setup have you sorted out? cheers mate.

Don't do it Guys! It's a lot of work.
If you've never bred Quail, they are very , very easy.
2 Cocks to 10 Hens (Cocks are smaller and more colourfull around the face.
Set your eggs and 17 days later.........
Clive, i've never had a quail sit on it's own eggs so most of it's Artificial incubation, then chicks under a heat lamp until they ween off it.
8 weeks later, you've got 8oz of Grub.
The benefits of fresh quail in the breeding season are immense.
Greenhouse Floors make great Quail Pens.
One word of warning though, if they are not kept really, really clean you can pass over cross infections to your birds, which is why i will only ever feed quail which i've bred, i would never buy them in....

That's what I.ve always been told regarding the hens sitting; I wondered how BM was doing it. I didn't want to go down that rout of incubators, heat lamps etc.
