chelsea chariot is it .. never been off road...
Yep. You got it Brian.
Runs to school and the like. What a waist. If it gets dirty she does her nut.
When I bought it her I thought I could use it for offroading. Nearly caused a divorce.
Nice motor though :D

I've had two shoguns Brian a short wheel based and a long.
My last swb Shogi had to be pulled out of a gate way by the local farmer who hooked his chain on the anchor point at the base of the chasis, next to the tow bar anchor point on the right.
He got a bit over excited and ripped half of the front end off incl most of the front Bull Bar!!
Nice Toy though, but for real off road capabilities look at LR 110 and Toyota land cruiser
I like the roof rack with the spots Brian ! 8)

the spots on the roof are brill for foxing along with a hand held lamp i can light a full field up no problem... the tires that came with it were hopless off road but since i changed to 80/20 tires it has been a lot better

I had one for years Brian - loved it. Did 285000 miles in it (on and off road) and never a bit of bother (if you ignore the fact a rear wheel fell off at 70mph just outside Cumbernauld on the M80...a minor irritation). Got a R Rover now and tho I love it dearly, the Shogun hammered it on reliability. Enjoy mate...

How do you manage off road in an R Reg Rover Chick?lmao!!

Well you know, needs must and all that. It actually goes pretty good if you fill the boot with sacks of coal and counterbalance that with Varmint in the front. The traction is amazing but you need to watch those adverse cambers...

PMSL!!! A mate just bought a RR, payed 70K ish, then took it to a specialist and spent 40k on extras. If he so much as parks 2 wheels on the grass its out with the polishing kit, waste of a good motor, especially on a plumber lol!!

I agree actually - most are a waste of a good motor. I think that mine is one of the few that does any serious off-road work regularly. At least, that's what they say in the garage when it's in for servicing. It's permanently manky (Scottish coloquialism for ... manky) and since I live on a working farm with a quarter mile farm track up to the house it pretty much stays that way! Great vehicle though - wouldn't swap it now.

Ideal for you mate, but this ones got the old playstation, dvd player, 4 screens, crappy bright red and black leather interior the lot. He drives around in a Merc Vito van and his missus takes the kids to school in the RR.

Yep - I meet a lot of them on the school run myself. The ladies who lunch get out of their gleaming 4WDs and tut-tut at the state of mine. You can take the boy out of the Scruffs, but you can't take the scruff out of the boy...

You could buy an old tax exempt Mk 1 Landrover for £400!
That's what you get for buying a Barbie mobile Brian!
You should get a Phoenix Nights Alarm like max:
