Let's hope they spread, and flourish but not too much!!!!!!!!!!

we don't want our hunting grounds taken over. :D

I think if non-indiginous species did start forming large groups from escapes or release, then Defra or the government would allow the culling of them.

Almost Def, SS!

But i bet if you went and asked for permission to take them back into captivity?

they'd say no.

Great to see indig wildlife back in the environment thow!

It is nice to see but if they flourish too much you'd better totally enclose your weatherings.

Owls are a big problem in the USA I believe,

ummmmm 4 what its worth Jester is sometimes fairly interested in small children especially toddler sized. a couple of friends of ours have toddlers and when they are in the garden he watches their every move. he doesnt seem to be bothered one way or the other about older kids (5+) but the way he stares at toddlers i cant make my mind up what he is tihnking about them whether he wants to have a go at them or just finds them interesting but i sure wouldnt trust him loose if they were going about

i'm happy to see those beautiful birds in the wild again but what worries me are those 'are my children safe' brigades as you say!!!

Oh Bubo, no like little pussy cats.lol
Owls are not much problem in the US mostly to nasty checken farms any way ! Hawks are more a threat to pigion and poltry frams then owls. Of all my materal I have nothing to indacate an owl ever attacking children . There was a report in the news about 4 months ago of a bald eagle flying off with a grizzly bears new cub so I'd say anything is possiable but for the most part owls of this type prefure the wood lines next to open range but so have addapted to abanden buildings with in citys .
