I have no price at moment but no doubt worth every penny looking at it and is other Hoods produced he seems to have a unique style.
He tell me this design is unique to Mj and i assume he has not placed cost on it or not mentioned in email he sent me yet.
Not so unique now eh..

Tim,
You won't be disappointed in the quality or the service from Griff, absolutely first class! They are the best hoods that I have seen.....

I beleive that is a modified Khan style of hood. They have just recently started to make and sell that type here in the states. They run about 60 US dollars or about 40 pounds. Here is a link to the site that has them One is a standard and the other is a custom style.

I personally don't like it, but have seen them before, so it is not that unique.
I think the feathers may also end up in that willy thing at the back and if you squash it getting it off on a fractious bird may pull out the feathers.
I am just play the devil here, another thing I don't like is the way it is finished off at the chin strap, I prefer a rolled edge, that stay stiff.

not so unique, I have been making that pattern for more than one and a half years. Blocking them, also.

The hood that griff is selling and says is unique to m-j hoods isnt the hood in the top picture it is a hybrid hood between the hood in the top picture and a blocked dutch hood.
Is shown on his website and is called the m-j dahn.

Sorry Dog, Love the bird but hate the hood!
Id have to agree with HM about the neck strap, th eplume is huge and would get on both my birds and my own nerves but the goretex braces are good!
It's a syrian pattern isnt it?
I also dont like the amount of room around the eye's that this almost Anglo indian type shape produces on a block.
Looks are important but longevity of use and fit are paramount!

Hi
looked at all comments and have understood that the pattern is not to every ones taste...... as explained to Timberdog at the time... the pattern was being developed.... here is the final version of the M-J Khan, its based on our popular Anglo Indian pattern.
