Does anyone know of a good supplier of frozen quail in the North Wales/ Northwest area? Does the forum keep a list of such things anywhere? Thanks for any info or input.
Mods, please feel free to move this post to the right place, cos I don't have a clue what I'm doing! :?

Thanks Jay, any help is appreciated. Wish I had room to breed the little beggars! I've heard there's somewhere in Whitchurch, but can't find out any details. Maybe someone on the forum knows it, ya never know.

You can order as much as you want as long as it fits in one freezer van. Any more than that and its another delivery.

Hi,

(KKK) Kiezebrink UK Ltd - Have agents which deliver food to zoos etc, it may well be the case they deliver somewhere near you. If so you can arrange to meet them at a stop off point. As far as I know delivery cost is free.

I have used Honeybrook to, as said before £15 for delivery as long the food fits into there refirdgerated van. If there's a few of us wanting hawk food we order together which saves a bit on carriage.

The Welsh Hawking Club (South West Region) apparenlty have a regular monthly delivery from Honeybrook for there club meetings which enables members to pick up hawk food.

If anyones after a supply of hawk food they could try http://raptornutrition.co.uk/ the site seems to cover Scotland, London home counties etc and Herfordshire areas.

All The Best,

HH

Thanks you all for your input, keep the suggestions coming. Seems North Wales is a bit of a backwater for most things! But the women are fun!

kkk is the one i use too :P i also use a delivery point 30 mins from me other wise i would have to drive 2.30 hours just to get there. The food is good quality stuff. I met up with a few more falconers too and found out of them flies an eagle. I didnt meet that guy but one of the falconers there with me was picking up his stuff for him :D It is great because all the falconers seem to be coming out of their hiding places over here. I hope to find more.

Well, call me a tight-@rse but I've decided to have a go at growing my own. I've picked up one of those little yellow gay-looking incubators so my beloved won't mind it being in the kitchen and it's cheap! Now all I need are some eggs so if anyone feels a bit over-burdened with 'em, I'll be glad to relieve you! :)

Feel free to pm me, don't mind if the eggs are japanese or chinese, anything but cadbury's, we've still got a cupboard full of them! :vom: Thanks, guys.

You not going, Brian? I'll be spending like an idiot this year, then she can't waste it on bills and shopping and all that rubbish. But yeah, if you can find out the postage on about 15, just let me know.

Normally I'm a big fan of ebay but I recently had a set of woodturning chisels arrive in pieces. Just down to bad packaging, the idiot.

I'm assuming they're the japs, Brian, hadn't thought to ask yet.
