rats

can anyone give me any tips on getting rid of rats in the breeding chambers :evil:
ive tried putting rat traps down and only caught 4 in the last 6 weeks ive also put ferret shiit down near the holes all sugestions appreciated

Use the exhaust off a brush trimmer, with a lenghth of hose and a terrier?

they are a bloody nusence i put the ferret shiit down it worked for a day or so and they burryed it ?????? barstewds

I have a fondness for explosives.....When in doubt, blow em' out!.......OK so that won't work in a chamber....but it's still fun.... :lol: :rock:

What birds are in the chamber? The reason I ask is, dont the birds nail them themselves?

i have the rat traps set up on either side of the run i cannot get into the chambers at the mo

have you tried them new sticky pads the rats just stick to them,just make sure your birds cant get to them.

I had a problem of rats two years ago
To solve it I made the following thing:
First I put food in the corridors and later place the traps in those same places. Also place some traps in the cages of small birds, but protected so that the rats could only enter
Also leave during one month to an Eagle owl and he capture the rats that do not go to the traps.
Only one thing, I have to take away the Eagle owl, because the black kites were afraid only listening the songs of the Owl, and stopped to built the nest.
The falcons breed normaly.
