Hey there
Male GxP would weigh anything fron 1lb9 1/2 to 1lb11 1/2 flying weight fat weight add a few ounces on top

Female GxP would be anything from 2lb4 to 3lb

This depends on the quality of birds from which they have come (every bird is different)

Price wise
Male = anything from £950 - £1500
Female= anything from £2500 - £5000

Depending on colour size and everything else!

I personally have flown several and are my favourite longwing to fly! They will hunt anything and are a very guttsy bird!

Adam

A small female gyr x peregrine at around 2lb 3oz would be fine for crow hawking any bigger and they really intimidate the crows and you don’t very often get good flights.
Male gyr x Peregrines start at around 1lb 8oz and if conditioned correctly will consistently hunt crows…

Price wise you don’t want to be paying more than £500 for a male, £600 at a push……not 100% sure about the price of a female, I got offered a small untouched female last year for £1100 but I reckon you could be looking at around £1500.

You wont find many 3/4 Gyr pere's as they are hard to produce (but not impossible)....i'm sure most are 50 / 50.

that is the biggest male i have seen, and i have seen plenty, i have flown one as small as 1-7 and as big as as 1-12, never seen one that big! must be a 3/4 gyr- 1/4 peregrine, mind you colin does breed good sized falcons, i had two perlins from him and both of those was bigger than normal. i would say anything over 2lbs definately intimidates crows and results in sometimes poor flights, my mate once had a female gyr/barbary 2-1 great crow bird and would not be mobbed off. my other mate flies a male g/p 1-10 catches everything, but once they have been attacked by angry crows , that is it for a while, they change qaurry and find something a little easier to handle.
