The manufacturers of the remarkable R-Com incubators have discontinued their marketing agreement with Brinsea.
Interhatch through it's wholesale distribution (Tradesales UK) are now the sole UK distributer of the Expanding R-Com range.
There are new models for 2008:
Larger incubators
Brooders
Reptile incubatorsYou all probably know by now that there was some confusion in the market place because Brinsea maintained that it was necessary for them to drill a hole in the back of the R-Com 20 series incubators.
Interhatch strongly condemned this action and carried repeated tests which showed, in our opinion and that of our customers, that drilling this hole was detrimental to the performance of the Rcom 20's.
All new R-Com 20's will not be modified in anyway and will carry the manufacturers full warranty.
For those that bought a Brinsea modified unit from any distributor Interhatch undertakes to support those affected by this moddification provided
a.) You can confirm the original date of purchase
b.)The distributer is now buying R-Com products through Tradesales UK.
We are finalising our pricing structure for the new machines and full details of these will be available shortly.
Here's a sample picture of the Brooder, Size = (W)660 x (L)470 x (H)440

This machine is as you would expect, digital temperature and humidity control, with far superior control and accuracy to the TLC 4 competitor.
