Have decided to feed up Squeek the 1/8th Gyr/Saker, after her crow today. Will moult her on her shelf and block. Shes had around 25 crows to date.
Shes been a funny falcon. Initially she would recall to the lure, but wouldnt pass, only take it when it was on the ground. Didnt mind that, as it was just for recall. Recently, she wont even land on the grounded lure, but has taken to recalling back to glove, which suits me better.
Will be putting my time into Alpha - 50/50 Per/Saker, Swift - 3/4 Per/Saker, who hasnt flown since Nov due to injury, shes a week away from flying again now. And lastly, Norma - 5/8ths Gyr/Saker imprint. Im hoping to fly these thru the summer. That just leaves Oscar, the Per/Saker tiercel. Im in 2 minds whether to keep him going or rest him up. Hes been the banker so far. Today for example, i had stopped next to a farm to make a call, the famer came out to see what we were upto. Once i had finished the call, i got chatting and seems he detests the crows n gulls. So, got Oscar out, kitted him up, and a few minutes later, the big flock of crows down his stubble field were up and away. Well, all of them apart from one  Heads telling me to put him down till the autumn, but i will miss his flights. Anyway, im rambling now, will keep you updated on the others.
Hopefully next time you see her, she will be a nice black falcon.
