Am looking to buy a new pair of eyelet pliers my last ones weren't much kop so looking to get a decent pair this time round and value for money. Any recommendations on where to get a pair

Graham, i've got a set i got from Martin at falconry fabrication. If you want to try them first.

Mine came from Ben long, one set of pliers with different sized attachments for the different sized eyelets. I can only tell you I am pleased with it and it has given me trouble free use for a couple of years. And it gets a fair bit of use.

I will agree. Martins eyelet pliers are great and have served me well.

northwoods falconry. they are mole grips with eylet fixings attached and are 2nd to none, with the dollar/pound the way it is there not expencive either, makes fitting of eyletts seconds, brilliant really good.

You can buy Prym Vario Pliers from most craft or sewing shops for around 10 the interchangeable dies can be bought seperatley to suit eyelet size. ;-)
