Hi there
I'm being extremely optimistic but here we go.
I am keen to take a serious look at becoming involved in falconry and would very much appreciate it if anyone in the West Kent -- Tunbridge Wells area would let me come along and observe them and perhaps give me a bit of insight.
Primarily so I can see what is needed and whether I would be anywhere near suitable.
I'm a mature adult and references could be made available.
I work in law enforcement (serious organised crime, although not with the Police) and am reasonably trustworthy, honest.
If anyone feels able to let me tag along let me know.
Neill

That sounds a bit cryptic. MI5? If you want a falconer to trust you, it might be a good idea to give some more information. We all know where hunting with dogs is going. BTW, I am in Scotland and my season ended on the 31st January so I'm not much use to you. So now it's back to the boring old summer job of drug smuggling. extortion, kidnapping, etc.<vbg>.

As you can see Neil, being a mature adult isn't necesarily that important lol!! It might be worth registering as a member so people can learn a bit more about you before commiting themselves to a day out hawking. HTH

True story:
Ex-girl friend: "What are you doing these days, Jack?"
Jack: "I'm working for the government".
Ex: "That sounds interesting. What is it you are actually doing?"
Jack: "I'm in communications. I don't really want to say more. Official Secrets Act and all that. I'm sure you understand".
Friend (now ex-friend): "He's a relief Christmas postie!!!"
Don't they let ya down! :(

Any attempt by the police to capture me will be futile.........I actually answered this post 20years ago, after travelling forward in time with a chap called Doc. Emmett Brown........
I'm now thousands of miles away.

What do you mean THINK :D
Seriously Neil, if you let people know a bit more about yourself I'm sure you will get a day out. These days with all the publicity about hunting, people are a bit aprehensive due to antis and do gooders. Other than that, go along to your nearest Falconry club and explain what you're after.

I guess I said the wrong thing, or maybe I need to change my aftershave........
Is it any wonder that folk give up trying to help some people?
