last night i caught the little smelly ones doing the business opened the cage to feed them and they were getting very happy god do they like it rough but im wondering what is the gestation period is for ferrets and if its a guarantee that she will get pregnant

If she's in season (bit early) and he's throwing her about like a bitch, you can vertually guarantee young'uns

Good point W, I've had first time mothers do it as well, they seem to get confused as to whats hapening and just start scoffing!

God they are strange creatures eh? i've had a litter of kitts at Christmas before??

I used to have an old Hob that would stay in with the Kitts all the way thru and never touch one, but my current boy would scoff the lot, no probs!
