Struggling to get my falcon to catch crows and rooks, so if there is anyone in the South Lincs. North Cambs or North Norfolk area willing to take me out to see where I'm going wrong please PM me.
I am new to this side of falconry and desperate to get it right.

Well an update.
Terry came over Friday and although it was blowing too strong to fly he came around our land and explained what would be good slips and bad slips and pointed out lots of things we were not doing right.
Today he brought his peregrine over [ what a good size ] and we drove around my land until we finally found a set up that although was not perfect he was willing to slip at.
The mixed flock of crows and rooks were about 600-700yds out and we got down wind of them. We pulled up, the hood was slipped and off she went in an arc across and down wind. The flock got up with the rooks going high. Two crows stayed at about 100ft and tried to make up wind to some poplars but one only got to about 70ft then cut down wind. The falcon saw this and immediately gained height and cut her off and as soon as the crow came under she stooped and hit it. The crow dropped like a stone, the falcon went back up winged over and hit it on the ground, game over. We then legged it out about 500yds to the falcon on her prize while the other two crows where attacking her.
Got there and let her have her prize.
I've learn't more about crow hawking in these two visits than all the reading and advice I've had previously.
Will now start afresh with new knowledge and vigor.

We were out with Terry again today and after a drive around found a slip in the same fields as last time although these were rooks.
Terry slipped her from the car and she cut across the field upwind. The rooks scattered and she gained height and singled out her target. We then saw 3 or 4 stoops at this rook with it jinking out the way each time but all the time she was driving it back towards us then all of a sudden she shot up turned over and stooped hitting it hard. It fell to the floor and she winged over and landed on it in the ditch. Cracking flight, great result.
