Is she any good? how high at the shoulder? Used to know a man on the broads called Mick Douglas who bred dogs not dissimilar to that.

 My bro forgets to say that "Tilly" his lurcher has fantastic temperament good with children and has a really good structure.
If we were going down the judging route she is completely in proportion has a nice solid front and plenty of width in the hind quarters . really good lay of shoulder . If I had to be critical and no dogs perfect I would prefer little more depth to chest. Movement is completely sound.
So anyone out there who has a prospective sire I believe she could produce some very nice pups.

If 27 inches at the shoulder, how about putting her to a good coursing whippet? Whippets are smart, tough, and game. If i only had time for a running dog these days, I would buy the smallest bitch pup off you, especially if it it had a bit of coat!!! What a lamping dog that would be...

There must be a good whippet stud somewhere. Perhaps countrymans weekly, shooting times or the net?

Have you looked on other hunting forums where there's more lurcher talk? The Hunting Life one always has an abundance or varying types, you'll need to sort the wheat from the chaff but you can at least see whats about.
