not everyone can walk straight onto their ground, some people have to travel and when they do, they take other falconers, hence choosing the right vehicle is quite an important decision

I have a van which takes up to six birds at a time , 2 if eagles , and we always try to get as close as we can to the hunting ground, if it is up rough tracks we make sure the birds know where to start, never from the fist , if you hunt a bird from the van it goes back , cos it's a safe place , more so young birds . opposite is if i train a falcon sometimes the van is all they can see for 1000m ??? each to their owm , never believe all you read, dog also makes them look for home.

i used to have an astra van that i used as my birdmobile, only trouble was when it came to insuring it i had a lot of chew. i only wanted domestic insurance but its difficult on a commercial vehicle, i do a lot of miles and it broke my back in the van, its gone now and im happy with the discovery (even though the van had a bigger loadspace)

I've got one of these.......

http://www.geocities.co.jp/MotorCity-Rally/1353/delica-hennsenn.htm

I'll take it ANYWHERE that any other 4wd will go, it will take 7 people in comfort (5 six foot plus blokes in the back can all sit with legs outstretched), birds, dogs, guns, you name it, it will go in.
Hawking out the side door.......blah blah blah
It's the best motor I have ever had.........

Lucky.
