Hi

They are 2007 models, that is one reason how we are able to offer £140 discount, but I also think the 2007 model is safer to use as the new 2008 model has a heating system to create the humidity rather than the sponge system, I have concerns about steam and a electronic control board being next to eahc other, sounds like a bang waiting to happen.

The only other changes are minor software tweaks that are more of a tidy up than any improvement to operation.

Just a general question really, I hope it hasn`t been covered in any other thread.
Love to have all the tarty bits of the pro compaired to the standard model but, having spoken to several breeders who tested and still use the Pro model, they say you might as well use the standard r-com.
The general bird of prey breeder will not have the need for the special egg turning aid. The Pro screen also doesn`t have the bird of prey settings which is a bit of a disapointment.
So as long as the temp and humidity system is the same in both models why have the pro model.

Would like to know if there is a real difference in the two models as I have the standard and was thinking of a upgrade?
