Well Hello. Igot swivel and leash. I'll let you know where you can get cheap leather. I dont have a vest, but I've got an old pair of pants you can have. Any good.

i have no equipment sorry but i know where you can get a few bits if you are just starting out??!

leashes - go to b and q or a boating place and they sell the material there to make them - very simple and probably a lot cheaper!
vests you can get cheap from a fishing place or even just get a belt and some "tool" pockets that fix on to belts -you can get those from the pound shop and are brill especially in the summer!
bags - they are not necessary so if you have little cash i would put that as a low priotity.
also try ebay they some times do good stuff but maybe an idea to check on the forum about quality first!!!!!

Don't cut corners on the swivel and try and get good bells, the louder the better :). Have a look at Mike's discount falconry (Or due north as it is now) he is a sponsor on here and sells on ebay, for telemetry the usual trick is to find somebody with a receiver you can borrow if needed and just buy a transmitter for the moment. Make sure it matches the receiver though :). How do you test it without a receiver?. If it's 216 get a cheap FM radio, you should pick up a weak signal around 108Mhz (Haven't tried it on 173 yet, a radio might just be able to tune down to around 86-87Mhz).
