I know quite a few falconers in Texas and Oklahoma that take sparrows and starlings regularly with their AKs. One friend had over 100 head of game this season. There are at least a couple on here that fly AKs. They are great little birds! :supz:

http://group.yahoo.com/group/kestrelfans very active group with nearly 800 members worldwide with a special focus on hunting with kestrels.
I hunted with AKs myself and found them though much more limited in choice of slips than say any small accipiter quite worthwhile and certainly fun to be with.

Have done in the past, last one eaten by a spar! Can recommend Mathew Mullenix's book, great to inspire you, and shows what can be achieved.
