Dan Paradis of the Quebec Falconry Center (he's a sponsor here) has very large redtails from a northeastern Canadian strain (note they are very pale in the breast, etc but nicely colored tails). BUT, the first female is ours...lol. He gets $1300CDN for them but I have visited his facility...first rate food, care, etc...so worth the few extra dollars. He is cities registered and can ship to you direct via Montreal and Air Canada I think.

Granted he is located in the cayman islands and there are breeders situated much closer to him where these birds are also indigenous to, he would be very foolish to buy a redtail from Canada. Shipping is expensive.

I don't doubt that in the least Dan, but I'm more then sure there are birds of the same quality situated in places way closer to him such as Florida where air freight costs would be 3 or 4 times less.

I'll do it myself... that way I won't get any hassle when we all get run over this time...
