I always read about how people find it so hard to get land to hunt on, but i went out today and asked about 7 farmers, 5 said yes. The one who said no had chickens to worry about and the other told me about another farmer sure to say yes with 500 acres. He did :D . I haven't seen the land yet though.
I haven't got a hawk right now as mine just died, i made a thread on the US version of this site. But i am going to get a female harris (decided against a red-tail now) as soon as i find one.
But thats not the best part, one of the people was a falconer! the only perosn i know now. He has flown and bred many birds and even gos' so now i can learn from someone else instead of teaching myself. Theres a river with about 30 ducks and coot. Soo excited. I will post pics when i go.
On another subject, i want to get a hawk soon, not wait for 2005 birds and then training it. Yes impatient but i only just got my harris hunting (my first bird) before she died, and want to get hunting right away. So does anyone know someone with a legitimate reaosn for selling a good bird?
