Bod

I know from what has previously been said on other threads that carrying a raptor first aid kit can cut down on the level of infection from bites etc and the contents can even save a bods life when used correctly.
I contacted Neil Forbes practice earlier this week gwr@gwreferrals.com to enquire about a first aid kit and the following reply was received:
Dear Gary,
Our Avain First Aid Kits contain the following contents:-
Electrolyte Solution (Lectade) - yellow liquid - needs diluting
Potassium Permanganate Crystals - dark purple crystals
Glucose Powder - white powder
Pevidine Antiseptic - dark brown liquid
Spare container for clean fresh water
Nu-gel
Exposure Blanket - in envelope
Syringe & clear plastic tubing
Plastic forceps
Adhesive bandage
Aluminium leg splint
Cotton buds
Leaflet on basic instructions
The price of them is £16.00 and p&p is £2.50.
Kind Regards
Zoe
Also Neil Forbes may be doing a first aid course on Sunday 16th June 2005 on behalf of the Yorkshire Falconry Club.
The date has not yet been confirmed but as soon as it is I will make another post.
