I have been using my new Diablo Double Deuce Hawk hood for three weeks on my hawk.. Love it..This blocked Hybrid Dutch ,Arab hood with the accordian back is just a "Sweet" hood. I love both the fit and look.. I am going to experiment with some heavily tooled multi colored Triple D's (love that ring) and will show pictures later..
Here is the Triple D with Red Ring lizard eye panels on Khan my redtail/ harris hybrid..
Eagle sizes available soon!!

That's an odd looking bird, no offence Ken:D:D. Are there many around in NA? What's his flying style? looks like Harris' tail and RT's wings.
Re your Diablo Double Deuce hood, I really like it, the red/pink is just not my color. I like the one with brown lizard on your website. Would you also do them with normal eye panels or just lizard?

She is odd Tobi no problem.. See to me I think she has the Harlan tail, they do not turn red when adult and she has sorter wings like harris,, she we all see things differently. She is very quick and agile flying in trees.. Monster feet!! I know of two, her and her sister which is in Montreal..
As for the hood,, Yes they will be available without lizard.. Just making some now for a falconer in Spain..I too like that brown but the one pictured I really am liking and I never make red and black hoods..It looks good on her..
Thanks Connor.

Our season is just getting going, we have had massive flooding in my area and have lost several hawking areas, I am just waiting for some alfalfa to get growing and we should be in full swing at jacks..

Ken,
that is an exquisite hood. Have you got a photo showing the rear whilst on your hawk? Please let me know when your eagle sizes are available as I will need a hood for my new boy. The trouble with you Sir is that you present us customers with such difficult choices  Decisions decisions
All the best.

Hello Dave,, very funny, I have since shortened the name of the hood to Diablo hawk Hood. Sorry I do not have any other pictures of the Diablo on other hawks. I have sold the hood for a few Harris hawks but mainly red tails. To be honest I was going to quit offering this hood as I had not sold many of them, I love this hood, but in the last 2 weeks I have sold 6,, then the interest in this thread again, so I guess I will keep making them. Wish I could help more but just cannot.

Come on Ken, Lets have a thread on your girl......I am very curious. You said she was a bit of a accident right? Looks good, hows her attitude? More harris or Red?

Thank You Iain, hope all is well, I don't have a photo handy but will take a picture in the next day or so. As I mentioned I did not sell many of them until recently so never really worked on eagle sizes, made one and sent it out.
At the moment I am just too busy to experiment with the Diablo as an eagle hood, BUT once I get caught up, I will try and make one for your eagle, same one I am guessing?

Hello Hawking,, sorry ,, learned a long time ago to not share my hawking succsesses OR failures, those I keep to myself and my journal. Her attitude is great,, she would be a great candidate for AI if I was going to breed her, she has her quirks in the field but once I had that figured out she is fine, Never had a Harris but I think she thinks more Harris then Rt, just my opinion..
So you are planning to breed her? Sorry, seeing your opinion on sharing this may be too bold of a question and I apologize; and of course, you dont have to answer if you dont want to. I was just curious - if so, what would you rather mix her with? A redtail or a Harris?

No Lenka,, no problem I just keep my hawking/hunting experiences to myself. I would like to breed her in the future, but a lot would have to happen to make that possible.
I would likely put Harris into her as she is so redtail like now, except her head and brain,, I think that would be the way to go..

Hello, I keep to myself on my hawking/hunting sucsesses(sp). OR failures. She has a good attitude, in the field she has a few quirks but we know each other now.

No acrylics or other paint is used , the hood is 100% dyed. It will not flake or scratch off..

Yes it does, that skull took almost two hours, and if the dye runs the hood is ruined and they take so long to finish , That is why I really don't try to sell them, I usually just make them for friends and my birds,
