think Varmint has flown a hawk eagle? Not sure which one!

Cumbrian falconry has a male? Mountain hawk eagle last time I checked.

Same as h4wka, would like to hunt an African hawk eagle too. The weight isnt to bad, maybe a 14yo could handle one lol!

I have flown both male and female african hawk eagle. I really believe they should be flown from thermals at quarry. Yes they are superb hunting birds, and I would love to fly them again, but would not do it here. If I had to fly one in uk I would like to charge across the countryside (like a mad man) in a 4x4 pick up and go for hares with a lamp. so yeah it would be wasted on me as they are capable of so much more.

bonnellis (never can spell that) are better but again don't know what I would do with it here. An african hawk eagle would be superb for displays in my honest opinion, kids would love it and if it was never hunted I believe it would be soft as s***

I know a few guys that have flown both Changable hawk eagles and Ornate hawk eagle. I would love to get my hand on an Ornate, but the only guy that breeds them here is selling them for about 10-15 thousand a piece.

Hello,

If I see or hear about hawk eagles, i remind on some falconer I spoke with some time ago on a German website. He was german but lived in England some 2 years ago. His name was Stefan Riddle. He was flying 2 hawk eagles ( i do not know which subspecies) and a golden eagle female.

If someone knows him, please PM me.

I've had one season with an african Hawk Eagle and three seasons with a Bonelli's.

Very similar temperament on both birds, steadier than a gos, but only just! Fats , smart, aggresive and no power on gods planet would have allowed either bird to ever think about waiting on?

Straight off the fist and if they missed, striaght back again, of their own free will?

Bonelli's was my personal favourite, but a very seriouse bird to fly that needed even more care than a Goldie to be safe!

Af Hawk and Kids??? so long as they were young enough not to cause too much damage to my bird and that they had all been checked for frounce first!

Hello friends

In the moment in the zoo of São Paulo, in the state of São Paulo - Brazil was born a nestling of Spizaetus ornatus and there is another egg in the incubator.

Hello

Yes, impressive bird, and these birds soon after they be placed in the same nursery, they began the courtship and the sexual intercourse and they accomplished two postures that were placed in the incubator, where was born a nestling and there is still another egg in the incubator.

Hello

Good, I don't know anything of the temper of this species, some hawkers say that mixes between Accipiter and Eagles being imprint it can cause like this many problems as aggressiveness and other problems, perhaps an one " imprint accipiter " of Mc Dermott, or better " imprint Spizaetus " for the method Mc Dermott largely solves the problems that exist.
If we have doubt it is better we create and we train a PR.

In Argentina some hawkers as Luís Gustavo Trainini and Jorge Anfuso in the Centro Guirá Oga practiced falconry with this species and in the case of being a bird passager or haggard doesn't demonstrate aggressiveness for the hawker.
