Anyone fly a lanneret for skylarks?
My Falconry Master had a lanneret 18 years ago, that took small birds in his 3rd year, including larks. But these larks were pushed down to the ground, or by stoops, or by chase. I have never seen a ringing fligt, like with merlins.

I very much doubt you can take skylarks with a lanneret on a regular basis, any other falcon to do the job I would think maybe could be an tiercel aplomado, or maybe even a tiercel NZ. But I donīt think a lanneret could do the job. A skylark is hard in ringing flight for a merlin when they get far in their moult, so I think a lanneret would stand no chance after sep.

I think he's talking about from a pitch as in gamehawking, not off the fist.
