Introducing the new Double "R" . Available now!! The hood is blocked on Ron Rollins New Millennium blocks and is available with lizard eye panels or tooled leather. It features the Arab accordian back which I am hooked on..
The hood is available for falcons up to Gyrkin size .Ron is finishing off blocks 12-15, and I will be the first to have them from Ron.

why dont you make a video, on hoodmaking?
i have known a number of hoodmakers, and i dont think ive ever known anybody who put as much into it as you do,,
seems to me, you would have alot more details to show than what i see in the rollins video,,
if you do, ill buy a copy, your a great hoodmaker

even if they don't fit, they will still be a great addition to the collection. Any idea when that video would be available?
That's a very nice hood. I like the gape & I especially like the accordian back. I hate the way traditional open backed Dutch hoods fall forward, letting the light in as soon as the braces are struck. Anglo Indian types have a tendency to pinch feathers at the nape. Perhaps it's just me. But I don't think traditional Arab hoods fit very well on peregrines. Though they sit very well when struck, with the bird being totally unaware. They seem to work better for sakers.
This hood would prevent all these faults. It's one of the best looking hoods I've seen. Put me down for a copy of your hood-making video when it's completed.

Thanks Puzo, my two new hoods hopefully have eliminated all that you commented on. I like Arab hoods but not always the fit of them, what I have now basically is the best of both the Dutch and the Arab . The Diablo Double Duece offers a great fit for med to large hawks and soon eagles and the Double "R" offer the same for falcons.
I appreciate your input..
Tobi, POTWD, Puzo I will certainly put you on my list , once the manual is complete I will let you know.

Cracking hood Ken.:supz:
I am currently working on my first dutch hood. I will post some pics up when finished. I love the shape of his new blocks, they seem to have loads of eyeroom, and the material he has used to cast them seems spot on. Once i get the hang of it i will be sending Ron 2 hoods for his falcons Captain Black and Cobra as a thankyou.
