Hello friends

For many years I have been flying Harris, aplomados falcons, and the last years Bicolored Hawk, my favorite birds. I accomplished recently in Brazil a course about reproduction of Harpy Eagle with Doctor Roberto Azeredo, with certainty one of Harpy Eagle largest creators in the world. He has 23 Harpy Eagle now. Being one of the most experienced hawkers in Brazil, I received an invitation of perhaps to train a Harpy Eagle male, that in the moment he has about 5 months of age, and it is under an imprint process.
Somebody knows how to feel information on how I should act, materials to use.
I already have a formed idea, but it would like to compare with the other hawkers' information that are flying to see if I am in the right road.
Somebody knows Andre Groenwald's email, that Crowned Eagle flies in Africa.
Good, my idea is to equip the bird with bracelets, and long jesses and to put to a gigantic bow perch, in contact with the human being and to eat just in the glove. I will use a reinforced buffalo glove of a friend Brazilian artisan.

Greetings

Jorge

Jorge, has you might seen from my pictures the glove needs to be a long one (to the elbow), maybe later in training you can use a smaller one... We used a aluminum piece inside the glove so the bird could have more stability, avoiding her to grip the glove hard, piercing the glove and arm...

All, i can say is that the harpy eagle has three times the power of a rottwielers bite in its feet! (Don't mess up!)
