Finally spring, that means that we are again making Hood blocks until Sept OR until we get tired of making them LOL. The set consists of 34 blocks and come with 2 sets of patterns.
Also,, new this year you may save 175.00 and buy an unfinished set. By this I mean, you fill any pin ***** sized holes , sand, and apply the primer and paint of your choice..
The finished set it 575.00 US plus shipping the unfinished set is 400.00 US plus shipping. As well,, a series of three blocks can be ordered for a sex of bird. The series of three is available for 75.00 US plus shipping, they are only available as finished blocks.
They are also available from Northwoods.
This is what JOHN MORAN- Master Hoodmaker and falconer for over 40 years has to say about our hood blocks - "I have heard some bad rap about the (Maynes) Chinook blocks that appears to be unjust. I was hesitant to use them at first. After forming some hoods on them and getting the feel for them with my patterns I have come to the conclusion that they are a fine precession set of blocks".
