Think you will struggle to fly them as falconry is banned over there. i know a guy who has many birds of prey there but gets away with it as he is regognised as somone who provides raptors for film making. Like the beastmaster etc.
it is a big place and I'm sure people live there without having neighbours for dozens or even houndreds of miles........so........ ya know

The wedge tailed eagle has been hunted over here, I've read some articles a few yares back. Could be quite good as they fly through woodland and scrub in the wild, so would cope with some cover, and not as big as goldies which are a bit of an overkill on our legal quarry.

A good friend of mine went through a fad on eagles, he bought an Australian wedge tail several years ago, bloody ****, it did not have the turning ability for hares, and they made it look stupid, he sold that and bought a Bonnelis from Scotland, an old female with a dodgy wing, she looked the biz but her best seasons were well behind her,

The bonelis came from Aberdeenshire i think , it was supposed to be a big secret, he had it stolen from his house 4 months later and never seen it again, it was Steve tollys old female, and she was past her best at 18 years of age, this was over ten years ago, he then went onto Gosses and never looked back :D
