PM me the details and I have someone that will be able to tell us.
Paul
Paul what food is s/he not eating? is it dry food? because it can be very hard to turn dogs from moist food into dry. if it is try a bit of mixer and moist foodand eventually take away teh moist food. Or maybe try soaking teh dry food and putting in a lil bread

He was brought up on dry. I have tried everything as he eats so little. The chap I got him from says give him his food for 10 minutes, if he does not eat it all take it away?
dunno what you could do then :S once they try moist meat they wont take anythign else lol.

Yep totally agree Grovsey, i was killing mine with kindness? my GSP works 7 days a week and i had him on 30% protein food, but he was always loose in the toilet department?
Canine nutritionalist made me put him on 22% protein food, now he's great! weights perfect, plenty of energy and good stools.
Food goes in for 10 mins, whatever is left comes out. (not much comes out!)

Hello Paul,
I'd try him on tripe mixed with your normal dry food, I bet he eats that.
Jim.

Hi Jim, it did work for two days but then he started getting picky again.
I have tried it dry, wet, mixed and now it is time for on its own eat it or loose it!

I have found the best way to get him to eat now is to have his food next to me when I am eating.

Never a problem to get mine to eat 9 year old dog and his son who is 22 months they are called marley and kipper ( two year old named the pup ) just out of interest what dog food does everyone use i use super dog active which is not cheap but dogs love it have good coats plenty of energy and most importantly good firm stools.
warren my black and white brittany will eat anything which is a problem at times as i like to control what goes in and especialy what comes out as i have to clean he's run and pick up after him if we go for a walk on the village green, my wife and fammily love him so when i'm at work he's free roaming the garden and eating anything that is offered, from sweets off the grand son to left over lunch off the wife i come home take him for a walk and low and behold he empties it back! there's no way you can pick it up or scoop it, so you hope no-one is watching and do one!
