Well strictly speaking I am sure you can shoot it if it is killing livestock.

tricky, but trust me it will be shot. Gamekeepers don't think twice about shooting BOP. Try and catch it like HM said, to where theres no chickens..... if that exists.

Trap it and fly it.
Right first time HM got to be better than killing it,
or give it to somebody who will fly it

Larson trap then take elseware..
I would check to make sure that you are allowed to trap it. After all it may only be a CB but it is still protected.
I have heard of the CDs being put up in some pheasant pens to keep buzzards and goshawks away.
What about a scarecrow or even better a scarebuzzard (not sure what it should look like)

After last Wednesday's DEFRA ruling, all avian species are protected even Corvids and wood pigeons?
The Hawk Board are having a hell of a time trying to reverse the ruling for Falconers at the moment and it's not looking good??
A license to Kill Corvids will only be issued if they pose seriouse risk or threat to human life and that all other legal methods to Scare them have been exhausted? even then there are no guarentee's?
So if you want to spring rook hawk legally this season, im affraid currently you will be breaking the law?
But all the same, contact Defra and apply for a license, as we need to pile on all the presure we can to reverse this EU wide ruling.
And as for trapping or killing a Buzzard, no exemption license (havent issued one in 9 yrs), no chance!

OK lets all apply for rook hawking then, whether to do or not?
