hello im new to the site but the day after joining i heard a noise outside by the chickens so i loaded the 20 bore (semi automatic beautifil gun) lo and behold a foxe snuffling round the run so i shot him i heard a noise in the bushes and another one ran out so down he or on a closer inspection she goes about to go back inside and a semi mature cub comes out wasted him quartered the cub and fed him to the ferret kits and put the first one in for the big guns 4 beautiful hobs and 4 lovely gills they finished him off quick

now personally i think it was the luck of joining this site (i found i twhile looking for a shooting forum and im getting a harris hawk next week)

I take it you havent got a mid terraced cottage in a quite rural hamlet.

Have you thought about using a Desert Eagle instead.
Does make a lot less mess.

We seem to be having a bit of an 'anti' influx at the moment. They can't be doing much elsewhere at the moment.
Brian don't you believe that Elvis is alive. I'm sure I saw him down our chip shop last week.

Either LV is an Anti trying to disgust us, which HE HAS or he though that is the rubbish we advocate here, we don't!

Unless of course, he is truely some hillbilly that does do this, which I doubt, because it all sounds to much like a KestrelFan story to me, or he was just telling a little fib and we are all over reacting?

Naaa I think not . . . . .

May be he cant tell a ferret from a pole cat  8 of them may manage a real small fox. Trouble is I'm not sure what his fancy gun is, but if it's like a big 12 bore what ever he fed the fox too will be dead from lead poisoning by now wont it ?? Dont know much about guns, got one, an it works without taking my shoulder out, so its good enough for a lowly farmer.

The good thing about ferrets is they chew their food, so if they come across shot the spit it out, unlike birds, that rip up and swallow!! It is much more likely your bird would die from lead poisoning than would your ferret.

I've put my ferrets near dead foxes in the past, they took one sniff, bushed up their tails and went and hid!!
